The Queensland Beekeepers' Association Inc is excited to announce our 2021 AGM and State Conference will be held at Mantra Sharks Event Centre, Southport Queensland on the 3rd & 4th of June 2021.

In 2020, the introduction of COVID-19 as a global pandemic left our organisation with no other option but to cancel our Annual Conference and postpone our AGM. An event popular on most beekeepers calendars each year not only for the informative presentations from our guest speakers, but a change to mingle and catch up with mates and industry colleagues. We expect that this news will excite many who are keen to catch up. 

The Management team from the QBA are currently working to prepare the agenda for our 2021 Conference. We will provide the details in further communication to our members and contacts of our organisation. 

On the Friday evening, QBA will again host its annual conference dinner. Tickets for our Annual Conference, AGM and Conference Dinner will be limited due to restrictions in place to manage the transmission of COVID-19.  Tickets for dinner must be included in your registration for conference. 

In order to host this event the QBA and the venue will need to meet all obligations under the health directives in place leading up to and at the time of the event. 

For this reason, the QBA will not be able to accept any registrations after the 14th of May 2021, nor will we be able to accept any 'walk up' registrations on the day of the event. To avoid any disappointment, we encourage anyone considering attending our Annual Conference to register early.

QBA Members can register for early bird tickets from the 1st of March 2021. We have chosen to make the month of March 'Members only Month'. So, from the 1st of March until the 31st March 2021, we'd encourage our members to register early to secure their ticket for what will be another great QBA event. 

Further announcements will be communicated to members on the release of non-member tickets/registrations for conference. Please, stay tuned.
