AHBIC and Agrifutures have launched a new series of online educational resources for Australian beekeepers.
These resources will provide videos, podcasts and fact sheets to support beekeepers in the transition to management phase for Varroa destructor.
The initial resources to be launched provide a video which has been edited into a podcast featuring Dr Michelle Taylor from the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research. In this initial episode Bianca Giggins (AHBIC Varroa Mite Coordinator) interviews Dr Taylor with relation to 'slowing the spread'.
